I chose this video due to the fact that maybe, just maybe I may prefer Google+ to any other social media platform available. The jury is still out.
However, I think being a Dad is something I know I prefer, and this video stood out to me for that fact.
I chose this video because, well quite frankly it made me laugh. Hopefully everyone has heard the original song that this was parodied after, but even still it fits our Recap Thursday having to do with blogs, and the impact that Social Media has on people. Song goes into detail what a supposed “Day in the Life” of a blogger might be.
In my opinion, Google+ is one of the best social networking sites of today. As a Google user and fan, I use Google products for everything. I enjoy the ability to integrate the different products throughout. Now the big question is, Do I really need ANOTHER social networking site? Well you be the judge:

The major advantage that I see to using Google+ is being able to share what I want with WHO I want. Yes, facebook does allow lists now, but do I really want to go through and assign lists to 500 people I have already added? NO. I also enjoy the information that is shared with Google+. To me it is a much more mature audience, in which I can actually learn something, or share something that more than only 2 people can enjoy. The only issue that I see is enough people interested finding their way to the site. However, I do see that Google is fixing the problem in adding it to Google.com.
In short, I am an adult…that would likely share appropriate topics with the right audience. I would definitely recommend this site to others that would also like to leave the drama with their mama (i.e. facebook).
